In a new blog post on the official PlayStation website, San Diego Studio has confirmed that MLB The Show 23 will be released on March 28th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Jazz Chisholm Jr. has also now been confirmed as the cover athlete for the game.

MLB The Show 23 Platforms
MLB The Show 23 is continuing its multiplatform deal, coming to PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Sadly, the game isn’t available for PC, but that could change with future installments.

The MLB series is developed by first-party Sony San Diego Studio, and was exclusive to PlayStation consoles for years. However, MLB The Show 21 was the first entry to come to Xbox, with subsequent installments being made available for Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

What are the New Editions of MLB The Show 23?
Storylines: A New Game Experience is a new playable mode coming to the game. We’ve set this mode to concentrate on the Negro Leagues. Eight players from the Negro Leagues, including Jackie Robinson, Buck O’Neil, Satchel Page, Rube Foster and more will be featured in the mode.

In addition to the Standard Edition and the Captain’s Edition, MLB The Show 23 has also revealed a Digital Deluxe Edition. The Captain and Digital Deluxe editions are part of the Collector’s Edition which also includes Derek Jeter (Hall of Fame Shortstop for the New York Yankees) as a bonus feature.
